Join us for a calming, nature-based experience led by Dr. Michael Stubblefield. Birding4Hope introduces participants to the practice of bird watching, or birding, which involves observing birds in their natural world.

During this in-person walk around the Crossroads4Hope campus, attendees will explore outdoor spaces while learning how to identify different bird species by their appearance, behavior, and calls. 

Using tools such as field guides, or mobile apps, participants will be guided through a mindful experience that encourages slowing down, connecting with nature, and enjoying the simple practice of observation.

Participants will learn to throw clay on a wheel. For two hours and a half, they will learn from start to finish how to work with clay on a wheel and create an object of their choosing. Beginner friendly. Catering to adults only. A great way to learn a new skills with others and the pieces will be fired at a later date to be delivered later.
