Genetic Counseling and Testing

Crossroads4Hope 3 Crossroads Dr, Bedminster

Registration closes on May 30 @ 5:00 PM

Genetic testing can bring clarity to understanding cancer risk, but it often comes with questions about what the results really mean.

Presented by Kacie Baker, MS, LGC, in partnership with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital -- Long Brand, this in-person program explores hereditary cancers, clears up common myths about genetics, and reviews current trends in genetic medicine.

This session will also cover practical considerations such as insurance, privacy, cost, turnaround time, and family impact, including cascade testing. Our goal is to help you feel informed and empowered when considering whether genetic counseling is right for you.
